CHICAGO: Two men were shot, one fatally, during a targeted attack Tuesday afternoon in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the city’s West Side, according to Chicago police.

Police said the shooting occurred around 1:17 p.m. in an alley located in the 700 block of North Spaulding Avenue. Four suspects exited a vehicle and opened fire on the victims. Both men were struck multiple times and rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital.

The 38-year-old victim, identified as Tim, was pronounced dead at the hospital after suffering multiple gunshot wounds. The second victim, an 18-year-old male, was shot in the leg and arm and is currently listed in fair condition.
